Other Proteins
There are other types of protein which are also of high quality.
Egg Protein
The protein in eggs has a biological quality greater than any other natural food. It has all the essential amino acids in the exact proportions required by the human body for optimum growth and muscle tissue.
Casein Protein
Casein protein is the predominant protein found in milk. It makes up about 80% of the protein in cow’s milk (whey is the remaining 20% of protein in milk). Casein protein has an excellent amino acid profile and is primarily known as an extremely slow-digesting protein.
Soy Protein
Soy protein is excellent for people who are lactose intolerant, and can be used as a meat substitute. Soy protein can be used for cooking instead of flour, producing high protein foods that are extremely low in fat! Soy protein is derived exclusively from soy beans.
